Yes, Mercury short and long shaft clamp saddles are different.  Long shaft ones are easier to find but no so with the short ones.  This unit is in nice shape, real good for a building project.  From a 50hp Merc serial # 5267160.  If you need a short exhaust housing I have them also.  Clamp assembly is from a fresh water motor.
